The PriorFire Installation Process
Installing a PriorFire fireplace isn’t a very lengthy or invasive process for techs like us who are trained to get it done right – and who know what they’re doing. In fact, it just takes a few simple steps, and you’ll be good to go. Here’s what you can expect from us.
- We’ll inspect the fireplace and chimney.
- We’ll make measurements to ensure the new system will fit.
- One of our factory-trained techs will complete the installation.
…and that’s it! It’s pretty straightforward, and unless something major is noted during the inspection process, your new system should be up and running in just one day.

26 - 30 inches in height (at the opening)
22 inch depth minimum
What are measurement requirements?
Worried your current fireplace won’t meet PriorFire’s size requirements? The good news here is that most systems are compatible with it. We’ve got the specifics below.
PriorFire works in systems with the following measurements:
- 30 – 41 inches in width
- 26 – 30 inches in height (at the opening)
- a minimum depth of 22 inches
Not measuring up? Don’t stress just yet. Many times, we can remove a side wall, damper frame, or the rear wall of your firebox to make things work.
Ready to Make the Switch?
If you switch to a PriorFire system, you’ll enjoy more heat, less backdrafting, and an improved ambiance in your space. These systems are known for burning cleanly, and they produce a tall, fun-to-watch flame that everyone is sure to enjoy.
On top of all that, they’re UL tested and approved, and they’re built from durable materials that will last long (and are easy to replace, if needed.).
Another huge perk of PriorFire retrofit fireplaces is that they offer a simple way to bring your current fireplace up to code, if that’s an issue in your household. And to top it all off, they come with a limited lifetime warranty.
